STOCKHOLM – HELIX

The beauty of this penthouse on the 21st floor with its breathtaking panoramic view over Stockholm is in the generosity of its spatial volumes. The contemporary interior design language maintains a ‘less is more” approach. The client’s admiration of the simplicity and contemporary style formed the design platform. We solved the spaces such as the living/dining area, the kitchen/study room and two outdoor terraces all to interconnect seamlessly. As each space is visible from the other, a congruent design language was applied, while subtle variances maintain interest throughout. The apartment features pieces of furniture the client picked along with a selection of contemporary pieces that were added to the mix in recognition of the modern architectural context. We chose natural and neutral tones to form a balance within the cool palette. Materials such as leather, marble, timber and stone feature dominantly—in line with the client’s appreciation of traditional materials.
